Honor. Loyalty. Service.
The enduring threads woven throughout my life, shaping who I am, who I strive to become, and the ways I hope to contribute to the lives of others.
A Tapestry Still Being Woven
My life has been a tapestry.
Carole King's words have always resonated with me, particularly the image of an ever-changing view and a tapestry that can be felt and seen, yet is impossible to fully hold. Life rarely unfolds in a straight line. It is made up of experiences, relationships, opportunities, challenges, and choices that may seem unrelated when viewed individually.
For many years, I saw these moments as separate chapters. A childhood memory. A volunteer project. A friendship. A career decision. A leadership opportunity. Yet over time, I began to recognize something deeper. What appeared to be individual threads were actually weaving together to create a larger picture.
A shared bag of gumballs in second grade. Helping classmates understand algebra in middle school. Supporting underserved students, mentoring professionals, building communities, serving organizations, connecting people, and helping others discover possibilities they may not yet see for themselves. While the settings have changed, the underlying thread has remained remarkably consistent.
Along the way, I discovered that the same pattern exists in the lives of others. Many people can sense possibilities before they can fully define them. They can feel the vision of what might be, even when they cannot yet see the path forward. Whether working with an individual, a team, an organization, or a community, I am often drawn to helping people explore those possibilities, ask the right questions, and discover what success means to them.
I am an architect and builder by nature, but the blueprint belongs to them.
My role is not to provide the answers. It is to help others discover possibilities and build pathways toward their own.
This website is not a chronology of accomplishments. It is a collection of threads woven together over time. Some personal. Some professional. Some born from service, others from curiosity, connection, opportunity, or purpose.
Together, they form the tapestry that continues to shape who I am, who I strive to become, and the ways I hope to contribute to the lives of others.
