Impact and equity work often begins quietly, through conversation, curiosity, and a willingness to learn together.

I co-founded the Wharton Alumni Social Impact Club (WASIC), an alumni-based group focused on exploring issues of social impact and equity through programming and dialogue. At its early stage, the work centered on bringing thoughtful voices into the room — highlighting challenges, sharing perspectives, and introducing alumni to leaders and ideas shaping this space.

The goal was not immediate impact, but awareness and connection. By creating opportunities for learning and conversation, the group began to establish a presence and a foundation for future engagement. While the reach was modest, the intention was clear: to foster informed interest, open doors to possibility, and support a community beginning to find its footing in this work.

Every effort starts somewhere. This one started with listening and learning.
