The purpose of the webinar is to help us develop and refine our understanding of how Gender is relevant to the issue of Climate Change by placing both gender and climate into the context of economic activities, focusing on priority sectors such as Energy & Environment, Climate Adaptation & Indigenous Women, Agriculture, Supply Chains and Social Impact Investment & Analytics.

The connections between gender and climate -- and between gender, climate and economic activity -- are not intuitive or obvious, yet they are quite real and very important. As a tool for better understanding the linkages that exist and the evolving state-of-play, we’ve asked eight different sector and thematic experts to take five minutes to reflect on how, in their own work, gender is relevant to climate and the extent to which these sustainable development goals (SDGs) are incorporated -- or are being incorporated! -- into that work.
